Anyone has more information about the layoffs or at least rumors about layoffs at BMS. People are using all kind of numbers and I am not sure what's for real and whats rumor. If you have any info please post it here as we still have many folks and visit this page - both current and old employees at Bristol Myers.

Heard layoffs today (Oct 13). The 30% number could take up to 3 years to get to according to the rumor mill.
Expect some one on one meetings all morning tomorrow.

Thursday is doomsday. Heard in PD, the percentage is about 30%.

Look at the 10% drop in stock price today. Do not put too many eggs in one basket. Look at Merck. Their strategy is diversification. In the long run, it may be a more conservative strategy that would pay off.
Layoffs are the key to the company's strategy. With today Eurpean Oncology Conference, they may increase the percentage of layoffs. It all has to do with the stock price. No pity to the employee.
Two biggest rumors I've heard are 25% company wide and that a lot of the carter road folks are going to be let go.

For PD, RIF should becoming next week. Head for the bunkers. This is the real thing.
