Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Beware of fictitious posts on job review boards

Has anyone seen some of the bogus propaganda employee review posts on Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn, Careerbliss and several other job boards? These are so transparently fake anyone with a few working brain cells can see right through these. It is always along the lines of "I am a young new hire engineer, HPE is a great place to work, lots of advancement opportunities, I love it here"...blah, blah, blah. Never any details like where this mysterious person works, how long, what unit or office, etc. but always with unusually high positive ratings out of sync with everyone else, a lovefest for Granny Meg, highly recommended as a place to work to skew the survey results of the genuine posts from actual HPE employees. Desperation is an ugly thing, no company that really IS a good place to work needs to resort to these kind of tactics. Think about the counter-productive message that is REALLY sending to the astute and in-demand potential new hires they are trying to attract: that they should pass on HPE and look elsewhere. Having this company name on your resume is not what it used to be.

I guess if you are an entry-level, and haven't experienced anything else, you would see HPE as a good Company to work for. NOW... If you are an entry-level, in a low cost Country, you probably won the lottery. Eventually, your job will be offshored to an even lower cost Country, but at least for some time you'll have some type of job security...

At this point it's all managed, all feedback sites are managed, layoffs.com is the only one where you can find realistic posts
