Anyone know if the trustee's are working on the a ESI pension plan to process our funds. I havery called the number provided and only get a voice mail. No one will return my calls or emails . Kinda like dealing with ITT. JUST WANT MY retirement
Does this mean that if you are on the list you can file a claim? I am not sure why I am on the list. I quit in July. Maybe they owe me some money? Girl can hope:)
Do a internet search on Modany's compensation over the years -- read that even in 2012 (when the stock price was already lagging, and enrollments were declining), he was paid close to $8 Million in Total Compensation. Of the thousands of ex-employees, former stock holders, and tens of thousands of former students who will go through hardship from closure, he is the ONE person who will NOT "suffer."
The Board of Directors were reallly on their game in their 'independent' supervison of this company!!
It looks like a dump of the employee database. They probably did a search with some limit of if you worked there with some number of years.
Case 16-07207 Southern District of Indiana. Law firm of Faegre Baker Daniels representing ITT One of the documents contains the retaining fee for this Law Firm. There are quite few dockets, look for Creditors, it is big with over 4,000 pages, contains name and address of the vast majority of staff including the usual suspects. Other docket is sealed with the student names, etc., Cerberus seized ITT bank accounts; appears that Waiburg Pincus control 12.4% of stock and Nantahala Capital about 10.8%. Assets listed at an amount between 100 to 500 million,also the same amount as debts. Well,, it has to wait for Court Trustee for the selling of property, also listed in one of the dockets; probably pay Cerberus first, then not sure about the stockholders, creditors, including vendors.
I'm not familiar with the finer details of bankruptcy....why would I be listed as a creditor in this action? I left the company two years ago. Can anyone shed some light?
Modany should be required to sell all assets, and then work at a minimum wage job (when not in a prison cell) to pay for his malfeasance--until he drops dead from fatigue and shame--oh wait...
Check out last line on bankruptcy filing pdf. After several thousand pages of names and addresses, the final sentence is .........
"Student information filed under seal."
So add a another 40,000 names to the list!

Doesn't it look like everyone who ever worked at ITT-Tech is on the list? 4000 pages of creditors, with 10 names per page --- 40,000 people?!?! Plus a ton of businesses.
Kevin Modany is creditor, listed twice -- business address and personal address. Checked out his nice house. Worth over a million dollars.
Worked as adjunct for summer quarter. Received my teaching pay on Sept. 6. They still owe me a few bucks for some extra tutoring I did in August. Won't be expecting to see that money!
