Which one should Apple pick
A Intel mobile processor for $200+ dollars or it's own superior processor for $22?

If they want to bankrupt themselves, they'll pick the Intel processor
As I posted people don't pick processors anymore for the most part, except desktop gamers.
Most people walk into store or online and pick a price point. What the manufactures pick is what matters.
As I noted in another posting, Apple won't likely move the needle on MS with either internal or external. You are also naive to think that Apple pays retail for the same process that Intel sell outside. Intel knows apple can move to their internal processor and it would make headlines in every major mag and intel stock would drop and millions in stock options of the senior executives ride on Apple staying with Intel.
Apple gets the best sweet deal of any computer manufacture to Intel products, the reason is Dell, Lenova and others have no one else to go to yet.
