ITT Tech is completely shut down now. They didn't even have time to transfer records to state education departments...and certainly will not be mailing out diplomas.

At our campuses, I was the only employee left in the state after the 6th. Diploma's? Not a chance. There wasn't anyone left to sign them...let alone figure out who should get them.
Students will be able to order and pay for a diploma or transcript, that was out into place before Sept. 14.
Your claim is false. I personally mailed diplomas to my grads as well as mailed every student their official transcripts.
The only thing in Carmel being done....destroying hard drives. I'm very surprised Feds haven't swooped in by now.
"However, as a direct result of the actions taken by the U.S. Department of Education and our lender to cease operations and permanently close the business............"
Delusional to the end and still blaming the DoE but taking no responsibility for running a diploma mill.
I called the state to come get the records! Many people had degrees onsite and worked to get them mailed.
They have been working 12 hour days all week and will be working all weekend and next week with no pay.
Tell Kevin to keep it up!
There are still a few key people volunteering their time at HQ trying to answer student emails and get students moved into graduate status so their transcripts reflect their graduation. They have been working 12 hour days all week and will be working all weekend and next week with no pay.
Again what campus are you at?
First of all, there are no diplomas at Carmel. Individual campuses were in charge of creating diplomas. I can't speak for other campuses but we stuffed ours on September 1st. Also, at our campus grades had posted and our Registrar had already set graduating students to grad status as of the 1st.
This is the bounce email you get from Carmel today (9/16). It's pretty clear no more help, updates, SEC filings, records management, website and tech support is being done.
"...Since closing our ITT Technical Institute campuses on September 6, 2016, we continued to provide support services to assist students. Specifically, we retained personnel at a centralized office to respond to student emails and phone calls, update our www.itt-tech.edu website, send regular communication to students and alumni, and gather records.
However, as a direct result of the actions taken by the U.S. Department of Education and our lender to cease operations and permanently close the business, we will no longer be providing these support services effective today."
"Wrong...."
You speak as if there is still someone to actually put diplomas into envelopes and mail them. There isn't anyone left (not even in Carmel).
What campus are you at? Student transcripts do not indicate graduated.
Wrong ! Diplomas were collected from my campus and being mailed. The state is also coming in to seize the records from the campus next week.
