Thanks bk for the smoke and mirrors

Today I sold all my Intel stock minutes before the market closed with a very nice profit!

Just goes to show the bigger fool theory is alive and well!

Intel is really in the sh-- :

  1. AMD threat with Zen.

  2. Altera ruined.

  3. Moore law ending.

  4. Loss of leadership in process.

  5. Loss in McAfee.

  6. Server business under siege by ARMy.

  7. Effectively exciting mobile.

  8. Loss leader with Apple modem.

  9. IOT (old embedded group) growth stalled.

  10. Employee morale disastrous with ACT.

  11. PC dropping like a stone.

  12. No significant foundry customers.

I could go on but I don't give a sh-- no more...

I am bit more optimistic that the rising sentiment will give the stock a run to close to 40 before Intel has to realize the costs of 10nm and respective huge slips in products. Then you got the issues with bringing costing the Altera and infineon modems in house, and additional costs of IoT and memory and the collapse will start in 2017 and continue thru 2018.

I'm greedy and only have a few tens of thousands of stock so not much to lose and not much to gain, so I'll let it ride.

It is funny how the senior insiders who have millions at stack are ALL SELLING, they aren't rich but they aren't risking their money at the moment, LOL

Great job, OP, and congratulations for maxing out your returns. Great points you make. Especially like the IOT growth stalled. This is after Intel quietly pulled all the resident genius principal engineers from all areas of the company to work on these "critical" projects. Since then, nothing had happened, BK brings in his failed Indian buddy to run the place which forces a long time BK supporter, Doug Davis, to leave. Ya gotta love this stuff.
