Thread regarding ITT Educational Services Inc. layoffs

Student asking for inside help.

First of all before I get bashed I do understand this is an employee layoff site. This is why I am choosing this route. I was an ITT nursing student with 3 months left til my RN. No one will help and do not want loan forgiveness. However our class figured out we are qualified for the boards and the last class was in place for Modany to profit on. We requested ITT to release that last class and they denied us. My point I feel we are owed something, I mean what are they afraid of losing their reputation. Sorry already done that. My question for you all is who can I reach out to higher up that might help. Thank you in advance for any help in the comments.

Nobody at ITT can help as there is no ITT any more. I would reach out to admissions to whatever nursing program is close enough and try that route

Also, depending on which state you are in, you might be able to sit boards for LPN in the meantime. I was Dean at Ft. Lauderdale campus and the day after we closed, I had a few nursing students requesting that I sign application for the board for them to sit for LPN. They completed the required courses. I signed the applications for them and sent to the board along with the course descriptions of all courses in the program. They felt it would be beneficial to pass LPN board, work as an LPN while looking for another school to accept transfer credits. Hope this helps.

Which campus were you at? Check what information the state nursing board has on its web site. They may be able to point you to other institutions who are willing to help.
