Received a recent ace communication about network upgrades. Oddly enough a bunch of stores are not on the list. Most of them in my area are the old tier 4 stores. Signs of closers? Upgrade are happening sometime around October. Just found it curious.

Neighboring store did that same reflow, laptop table, etc. They also had carpeting put in. They were closed 2 months later, and the DM knew they were closing for 3 months before that, but allowed the reflow to occur.
If past history means anything it will not have bearing on if the store stays open. In 2013 i recieved a new server and register upgrades . I also did a reflow in business machines adding laptop tables. New my lease was coming up thought I was in the clear with the money they were investing in my store. Then about 2 months later they decided to close my store. What a waste of money. Typical staples on hand doesn't know what the other is doing. We closed in February 2014 15 years after we opened.
