Checked my ITT-tech email for updates. I've been assigned training sessions that must be completed within 30 days.
Training was assigned on 9/09. Three days after being laid off.... D'oh!
Anyone else get any weird training emails?

The severance is imaginary
--supposedly some employees something in writing, not sure if it was still in effect.
The severance is imaginary, just like ITT Tech's academic standards.
There is no severance pay, just a nice termination letter telling you to pick up your stuff... "game over man"
What severence? Yeah we didn't get any!
I have a collection of such emails. I also have a collection of VMs pleading with me to return calls about teaching again.
I gave up on ITT Tech some time ago when it became apparent that Carmel had no interest in running a real college with real academic standards.
your severance pay is contingent on completing your assignment.
