Thread regarding Bombardier layoffs

Amatuer Hour yet Again at Bombardier

So Bombardier announce to the world that they yet again cant make c series production rate due to poor supply from the engine manufacturer. Another debacle indeed but it shows the complete lobotomised corporate slime thats running this charity case and the arrogance or ignorance of its pr department! They release a statement lauding the arrival of a $500m bailout from Quebec which in itself is failure then reuters release an article about the engine shortages! So it looks like more layoffs on the way regardless and yet more bad pr for Bombardier, but what gets me is that the engine that PW say they cant provide to meet Bombardiers tiny production schedule is the same engine that will go on the Airbus Neo but theres no talk of Airbus reschedule which can mean only one of two things, they have a professional pr dept who know what they are doing or PW will provide engines to meet Airbus massive production schedule.

Im afraid Bombardier are an amateur organisation out of their depth and it will cost jobs unfortunately.

The company line about engine supply is a smoke screen. The real problem is the supply of fuselage sections from China. The Chinese supplier is way out of its depth. They can't come close to supplying the numbers or , more worryingly the quality required. It's is a farce. The company had to start dual sourcing the fuselages from Belfast in 2012 and to date no Chinese sections have flown. This programme is in far more trouble than Bomardier dare admit.

Unfortunately, you were so right. They announced 1500 job cuts in Quebec.
