Thread regarding ITT Educational Services Inc. layoffs

Any ideas on what ITT has to do next...if anything?

Now that the Dept of Ed has gotten what it wanted all along (ITT Tech Closed):

Does ITT have any responsibility other than pack student files into boxes for the State to pick up? They don't have the Title IV eligibility held over their head any longer...so I assume they don't have to pick up the phone if the Dept of Ed calls (at least regarding ITT Technical Institutes)? That must be a relief for the corporate guys left in Carmel.

With Corinthian, the ED placed a "special administrator" at their corporate offices to assure that the wind down process happened the way they wanted it. Actually, the administrator was a cover to help with cherry picking campuses to be given to Zenith Group.

No such plan exists for ITT...so they're able to close down anyway they see fit.
