I firmly believe Fluor should do a better job transferring people to other offices rather than laying them off.

They will not spend the money unless the employee is well connected. Now if they were hot stuff or had dirt a VP then they would send them family status to anywhere in the world.
Its not Fluor's style. We like to keep drunks, good ol boys, idiots, relatives, non performers and losers. Its a hold over from reimbursable days. If they can breath....or not.....put em in a chair and charge the client.
