HPE's future success will be like any business - HPE will only be as good as the staff it employs...

HPE "future"? You are referring to the next 1-2 years, right? There's no "HPE future" beyond that.
I think Meg has been forced to accelerate the breakup and sell of the HPE pieces. The internal leaks to the media have been unstoppable, and the impact on revenue will only get worse in the next quarters - as customers are wary of doing business with a Company with an uncertain short/mid term future. 2017 will be the year to execute the sell of Services & Software (and who knows what else!), and in 2018 HPE will either go private, or be acquired/merged with another Company. I agree with someone that posted in another thread that our future will be the same as Compaq, Palm, and others... In a few years HPE will only be a product line brand, until it eventually disappears. I hope the Garage doesn't become a WalMart community store...
@1dyo - I would have agreed with you, but... I really doubt HPI will still exist (at least as an independent Company) in 10 years. But yes, I get your "yo-yo" point...
Yep, and in 10-20 years someone at HPI will say "we should expand more into the enterprise space". What has happened before will happen again.
Wrong... At this point, people has nothing to do with the future of this Company. Even if the jobs offshoring is stopped (Ha! Good joke!), the fate of this Company has been defined already, and it is to break it and sell it in pieces to either private equity firms or any other interested parties. In less than two years, HPE will not be a publicly traded company, and in less than five, it will become just a marketing brand, part of a much bigger Company. That's it... English 101 for those that still seem to be confused with the evident....
OK Sherlock!
