As you may already know, Zenith Education Group took over 56 schools of the failed Corinthian Colleges 19 months ago and have already closed 32 of those campuses because of monetary losses of well over 100 million dollars. Zenith Education continues to monitor the remaining schools that may not be sustainable because of continuing loss of revenue. This may cause Zenith Education Group to close more of the remaining schools in the very near future.

September is the last new start for Blairsville, students will be offered a teach out in Blairsville or can transfer to Laramie in January. Looks like the party is over. Very sad.
Pennsylvania College of Technology ( Penn Tech ) has the best automotive and collision classes in the country and tuition is $27,000 which includes housing and meals. WyoTech charges $32,000 and you're on your own for housing and meals. Penn Tech is associated with all the major auto and truck manufacturers. They are also part of Penn State University so your credits are transferable to other colleges, WyoTechs credits are NOT.
The Dean and his assistant at WyoTech that have absolutely no experience in automotive, in fact they need help checking their oil, are in total control of curriculum.
All prospective WyoTech and Everest students, you still have time to cancel your enrollment. Don't make the most expensive mistake of your life by going to these schools. CANCEL YOUR ENROLLMENT NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!
What's exaggerated?
There is a lot of exaggeration on this website.
Go to WyoTech and pay $32,000.00 to learn how to change oil. Then add your living expenses of $1,000.00 a month. Now you're at $41,000.00 to learn how to change oil. Then after you graduate you need to buy tools before anyone will hire you. So now you go in debt another $10,000.00 for tools so you can land that job making $10.00 to $12.00 an hour. They will tell you the average automotive technician makes $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year, which is true. What they don't tell you is that salary is based on five to ten years of on the JOB experience.
It isn't so much the quality of teachers, it is the quality of Assistant Deans. They are usually unfit for their job. One in the business department with a fashion major and sold clothing, another was a paralegal in Criminal justice. The AD's make sure you push everyrone through. Its simple, if you don't push every student through, you don't get classes the next term. Everyone gets pushed through, unlike real colleges that will flunk you if you don't do the work. Any student that really wants a college degree that means something, go to a state college or community college. If you just want the money from the loans or VA, then attend these bozo schools. Hopefully they will be shutting them all down. They are simply another form of welfare that taxpayers have to pay.
Pgs - Insulting the teachers? Wow. You can't fake transcripts which are required of all instructors at every school for accreditation. You don't know what you're talking about. The teachers are not the problem and the ones I've worked with have excellent credentials. Stick to the issue.
Why would anyone want to go to WyoTech or Everest when there are better options? If you live in the east, you have Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn Tech) which is part of Penn State University that costs less than WyoTech and has REAL degrees and credits that transfer to other colleges. They also offer the same fields of study that Everest does, again with REAL degrees and credits.
Looks like a warning to students. If you haven't started yet you may want to reconsider going to any of these schools. It would be a shame to make it most of the way through only to have your school close before you can finish like what just happened to all the students at ITT. I would look into Community College or a more solid and respected school.
How about students save yourselves now because a high percentage of your teachers have never done half of what they say they have done. The rest are hired students.... and then there is the last 2 or 3 that are real and just want to retire.
Wow, this is news...
