Thread regarding McKesson Corp. layoffs

EIS News?

Anyone with insider information about the "strategic alternatives" being mulled over regarding EIS and the unfortunate surround applications which are lashed to that sinking ship called Paragon?

From what we've heard in the building attrition is high and morale is low within Paragon (regardless of the statement from management last week). Apparently part of the strategy is to just keep back-filling all of the open tech positions with offshore resources. Maybe upper management doesn't consider that attrition.

Maybe the strategy is to just let Paragon and other EIS groups wither on the vine until everyone has been forced into going into maintenance mode then sell EIS off to the highest bidder???

I currently work at a location that uses Paragon. They are looking at moving to Epic. It's more user friendly and has better support. If McKesson wants to keep business, they really need to start looking at how they operate.

I haven't heard any details, but I can confirm that morale is very low at the office. Almost everyone I know is looking to jump ship.

The most talented people seem to go first as they get pulled to other companies, while the worst hold on with no other option.
