Stick a fork in ITT

Been fighting these crooks since 2009, when they lied and saddled me with 3 times the debt they told me it would cost. Zero help with job placement and years of fighting collectors and my own government for fairness. This result was inevitable and many former students like me fought to make this happen. Today is a good day and hopefully the current staff and students can see the cycle of misery they were going to be a part of and can now avoid. The DoE was powerless to help past students while current ones were still being victimized, hopefully now current and past students can get help escaping the crushing debts the crooks on top conspired to steal from the government.

Spq, if we know Americans don't read the fine print on contracts why not eliminate it and provide clearer, easier to read contracts? Student focus is what it's all about, right? Here's some stuff for you to think about.

YOU ARE A MORON!

Did you use your detective skills to enroll any?

"YOU ARE A MORON! At the campus I worked at as an Admissions Rep"

Says it all, doesn't it? Calling other people names in large caps, and then expecting anyone to believe the job title 'Admissions Rep' qualifies them for a bunch of respect!

Got the job based on sales experience. And what did this person do? Read a script! Spun a career wheel around. Pushed out countless documents with fine print!

Here is a former employee of educational institute, who was trusted with guiding prospective students through a decision that was both extremely costly and would set their career path for the next decades of their lives, talking S__T to former students.

YOU ARE A MORON! At the campus I worked at as an Admissions Rep, each and every student were read The Enrollment Agreement in its entirety, and ALL student loans were discussed before signing. Only a MORON doesn't read contracts. Did you ever buy a house or a car and not read the contract? Probably not you DOPE. Good luck working at Walmart SLUG.

Cry foul all you want, we both know ITT made zero effort to add up all the forced loan packages they dragged people out of class to sign. I had high grades and actually attended a state university prior to ITT. If you think a month old stack of monster.com printouts in unrelated fields are worth paying someone in career placement for then I guess maybe we had different ideas about what their responsibility was. After years of commercials with them lying about partnerships with hundreds of local businesses how would a young person know better? I'm one of the main drivers in this shutdown and have paid a high price for naivety when I was young. Nobody should face the pressures and economic damage I have thanks to the whiny crook Kevin and his band of thieving title IV welfare leeches.

I think that ITT deserved what it got. That being said, ITT was bound by law to fully disclose cost in their enrollment agreements that you signed and should have read. I'm not saying that what happened to you didn't happen. What I'm saying is that it is more of a unique occurrence rather than a company-wide practice. As American's we are quick to sign on the dotted line without fully reading the contracts in front of us. In other words, buyer beware. Furthermore, I find it hard to believe that you had zero help with job placements. Were you expected to be handed a job? What kind of student were you? What was your degree in? You sound awfully entitled.

I cry foul on this one.
