Yes they were comissioned.... very subtly, with a career ladder system - once you perform well, you can move to the next pay level with higher income. But if you don't keep up with the performance required for your tier, you get fired, you cannot go back to a lower level. Some lazy Reps just BSing students all day and not doing any extra work were getting 90k a year, while the always busy, doing tons of work FACs were making half of that.
My husband has worked as a receuiter for ITT for 18 years and he has NEVER worked on commission. He is an hourly employee. And he is now out of a job like everyone else with a family to proved for and the corporate shirts that make the big bucks are hiding like cowards and won't communicate to employees or students.
most non commission jobs that are commission have bonus checks.. thus making them commission
