Since it is the day we celebrate labor in the us I am curious if you think some form of worker collective would be a crippling blow to innovation and productivity by creating another layer of bueracracy. Or could it be positive by enabling some who today fear speaking up against their bosses for fear of the L4? And would management be more or less inclined to engage in a partnership and listento workers opinions?
Personally i have mixed feelings. Ten years ago I felt it was safe, even rewarded, to raise pointed questions even if unpopular. Today, rightly or wrongly, I am much more circumspect, polite and deferential. I almost feel japaneese. Instead of WTF, are you insane or drunk i say, its a difficult idea to execute but if you feel this is the only answer .....
