Number is more like 900. Higher salary grades and salaries eliminated. Jobs weren't eliminated, people were. Certain people were placed into jobs based on who they know or related to. Processes not followed. Values are mere guidelines really. Poor decisions being made by bad leaders.
Yes, true. They eliminated positions. Many were let to go that had 15 to 20 years experience. But then yet they are hiring college grads to "save face" on those campuses. Are you kidding me?
A senior level manager from building AC told me that senior management was not given the choice who to let go, rather it was selected on the director level. In some cases, this was a new director recently selected by Jean. Groups and individuals from groups were selected based off of salary grade and roles to even out the salary grades.
