I would agree, they need to keep a few staff members to process graduates from June quarter and resolve their financial aid accounts, plus have the admin. pay out final transmittals, etc for a few weeks or months at best.
Most everyone at my campus took home their personal belongings, no doubt ITT would lock the doors Tuesday and shutdown with nothing but an 8k submission to the SEC.
My theory is that Modany doesn't want anyone in the building when the news of the bankruptcy comes out in order to prevent the employees that are still left from taking anything. I would assume everyone's last paychecks will be deposited in their respective bank accounts by that date. A skeleton crew of functional managers will most likely be left with the tasks of notifying students, producing transcripts, and monitoring employees as they are scheduled to come in and collect their personal belongings. In the end, it's going to be much longer than a 4 day weekend, but it's just a theory.
