My husband works for itt and he genuinely cared for his students and loved his job! He has been told nothing! We have a family and he is the sole bread winner. We are both so stressed and worried and corporate tells us nothing!

"Gov is too big for their britches." I am going to ask you something, I have been curious about for a long time. I want to ask something of you right wingers who work at ITT-Tech and whine about big gov ruining everything. Here it is -- the big question -- how in hell does your brain tell you gov should not be involved with ITT-Tech, yet at the same time you think it is okay if GOV gives students one billion dollars a year in loan money?
Remember, the whole crises going on now is about DOE cutting of GOV money to ITT-Tech! Isn't that the way it should be according to your wonky playbook? No GOV interference! Yup, cut off the GOV funds to ITT-Tech, check!
"In case you all didn't get the memo from the last 8 years - it's subject was SOCIALISM."
Troll, troll, go away. You are spamming every thread with your spewing and ranting. Wasting my time!! Take another dose of your meds, and go back to bed.
Anyone that has continued to work for ITT the last 10 years is in some serious denial. Don't hold out for good news. Get your husband's resume polished and hit the pavement. Get ready for some serious Dave Ramsey sh--...stock up on rice and beans, cancel your Netflix, and sell the kids...the ship is going down hard and fast! No praying will help on this one! Fair or unfair, Kevin Modany sold his soul to the devil and everyone that was part of this scam (complicit or not) is going to be adversely affected. Matter of fact, Corinthian and ITT have/will be the first in a house of cards that will lay waste to this corrupt and unethical industry. Good luck.
We have a group on FB called ITT tech warriors, please look us up. We are looking for whistle blowers and any one that has any info on how ITT operated or operates. We need teachers, students and staff.

Tip on job opportunities -- providing services to 90% of ITT-Tech students who enrolled over the past 20 years and DID NOT have that feel-good success story.
At least do some volunteer work in that area; might help your resume and your conscience, let alone scores of people.
Ratio of success to crippling debt 1:10
If you've had a bad experience teaching at ITT, I'm sorry to hear that but I understand. I've had the pleasure and displeasure of teaching at and working with multiple campuses and various faculty/staff/students/parents. Not every campus was the same but I personally saw many students get opportunities they would not have gotten otherwise because they don't fit the "mold" that traditional colleges/universities require.
After this, there will be a post saying, "yeah they got the opportunity to have crippling student debt". News flash - graduates of traditional colleges and universities can have a great deal of debt too. I am one of those :)
Here is a tip whether they stay in business or not he should be searching for a new job.
I was an adjunct faculty at an ITT Campus this past quarter. I don't think ITT it is a legitimate school.
I am so sorry .. I'm in the same situation :(
I am currently an adjunct faculty member at an ITT Campus. I understand perfectly; I love teaching, and teaching at ITT has been an incredible experience. I have had the pleasure of working with some incredibly dedicated people who went above and beyond to assist students in need.
It is a sad day, indeed.
