Thread regarding ITT Educational Services Inc. layoffs

Can't Modany and Company just walk away?

Given that is "game over" in Carmel...why would Modany or anyone there even bother to show up for work? Just walk away and let the regulators sweep up the mess?

While it's easy to have ill feelings for Moedany, let's remember he tried his best. His path was set by the market. He worked tirelessly to make ITT accessible to all, to give seekers the education they looked for. His competitive attitude and presence will be sorely missed in the hallowed hallways. Someday we may be able to remember his good doings, rather that the eventual chaotic demise. One day, those he helped and mentored will be eager to shake his hand and say 'well done.'

Modany is a total a--hole. He cheated on his wife, banging the office secretary. Cheated his way into millions, and treated his employees like sh--. The man used to watch the parking lot just in case someone left early, if they did he would call their manager and find out why someone was allowed to leave early. Hell the call center team even had to clock out when they took a piss. I hope he burns in the lowest pit of hell, especially made for him and his gang of thieves.

Modany is probably on his jet to his Island hideaway far from the US. He's made his millions, the DOE let him, and now everyone else pays the consequences.

As Larry the Cable Guy would say, now that's funny right there!

That would be completely irresponsible. The top brass must stay on and focused to keep the ship headed on its due course. Their leading by example provides a shining light of hope that engenders legions of followers.
