Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Google Pixel = Millenials = Huge 4th Quarter for Verizon.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Just kidding. What an organization of F-ing losers. Pixel + $160 for 20g data = another 100k customers gone in the 4th quarter. Hello Lowell, it's your former customers. Can you hear us now? We're all going to T-mobile, Sprint and At&t where we can get the unlimited data that we want for less money. Happy holidays Lowell & Cronies! Congratulations on another year of incompetency.

left Verizon during the strike.. brought my plan and my married kids plan over to a different company. Every chance I get to tell others about different companies other then Verizon I do. I figure at least a dozen or so family/friends have moved off of Verizon Wireless.

This will be my goal.

fuc7 wireless... long live wireline.

All the customers who ordered the pixel WILL be FI customers by the time their contract with vz is up. Just wait. Pushing the pixel in this way is going to bite verizon in the ass

Why does Verizon keep lying and say they are the "exclusive" seller of the Pixel? Lies...you can buy it from Google.

Totally agree. Last year, I was laid off. For a company who laid me off and kept all the incompetent individuals, I went to AT&T. Is the service perfect? No. But I will take a dropped call or two to be with a company that values my business and values their American employees- union and non union. For every person laid off, have the last day and leave Verizon. They don't deserve your hard earned money.

For the Millennials, those of us born from the 1980's to the 1990's, if you want to retire you would have to put away AT LEAST $1,000 EVERY SINGLE MONTH for the next 32 YEARS just to have over $1Mil at retirement. This assumes a STARTING SALARY of $50K a year.

MOST of us will NEVER be able to retire by this math. WE MUST BE ABLE TO COMPETE FAIRLY IN THE WORK PLACE OR LITERALLY PRAY OUR KNEES DON'T GIVE OUT. We'll need them for Wal-Mart greeter jobs or to flip the burgers at McDonald's . . part time. . . with no benefits if these parasites continue to run Verizon into the ground.

YOU WILL BE MOVED

Im going to take a stand. I'm 26 and before I got hired at verizon I spent 9 months looking for a job. I have student loans and I just got out of my parents basement 6 months ago. I didnt have health insurance. Im not going back without a fight. Its hard out here and Im going to fight for a chance at a future. I know there are good people out there who are ready to compete and I see how management tries to stop them. Bad decisions from leadership hurt people and they need to be held accountable. They cant do anything if all us are not afraid to speak up.

RISE UP!!

Add me to the group that was laid off and went to T-mobile... cheaper than my employee plan, coverage for me has been the same or better in some cases, and with Binge On, my son watches all the YouTube, Netflix, Vudu, and whatever else with no overages. He could even watch Go90 if there was anything on it.

I agree with what is being said. This company is not innovating or changing anything until they have to. We are always behind with pricing and promotions. Leadership is still stuck in the days that people will pay more for a "better network" but the reality is not showing in the subscription base.

We are losing to our completion on all fronts and we still keep doing the same crap.

We stuck our noses in the air with the iPhone and they went to AT&T. What did we do after we tried to battle them with blackberry? We went crawling to them in defeat. We changed the data plans because we wanted to charge more.

We didn't roll out device payment until we had no choice. We also waited forever to buyout other people's contracts.

Let's face it, we are still throwing crap at the walls and hoping something sticks.

People are being fired and leaving due to mistakes of leaderships. Why are they still making millions and keeping their jobs?

Time to take a stand and show them.

All ready went to them over a year ago. Save over 100 a month vs my emp plan. Never looked back. No overages. Don't believe the hype. They are just as good.
