Thread regarding Charter Communications Inc. layoffs

Charter Communication Time Warner layoffs 2017 and beyond

What's the scoop here - are we anticipating major hits in NYC based on the recent developments and what do you think will happen in 2017 and beyond. There is a ton of rumors and I personally think (and I have been proven wrong many times so hold your hoses here) that there will be major cuts in 2017.

But at the same time, there are some signs of hope as well.

Good luck to all...

That is what happened when you have mom and pop level of management and engineering skills forced to manage the enterprise! Charter is mom and pop company and time warner cable is the enterprise! go figure!

Maybe that nice big 98 million dollar payout to the CEO of Charter after the merger in 2016 should make everyone that is scared for their lively hood feel better about having a carreer at Charter. Best bet....look elsewhere...

Dublin OH - 150 laid off in Nov 2016 on the spot. No notice

Columbus OH - 23 given the option for relocation to Denver or force layoff.

If you are a contractor, you've probably got the news by now. Charter will not be renewing or extending labor contracts. It seems TWC had it figured out, but the clock is rolling back with Charter. Best of luck

Charter has ruined Time Warner Cable. Took a great place to work and destroyed it!

Already happened. Large TWC layoffs from Charter. They'll be in the red in 2 quarters. Non competent management
