I used to work at DST. Quit. Then hired people away from DST to work at Sprint. Made a fortune doing it. Glad DST didn't make it more attractive to stay, as I would have missed out on making 500K each year. Thanks DST for helping me by underpaying and poorly treating your employees. In a weird way, I owen you for that. But don't wait up for a thank you card.

Yes I can remember Sprint was paying 15 to 20% more than DST for the same job. So over a 10 year period you got 1 to 2 years more pay at Sprint. Or 1 to 2 years less pay at DST. The best left DST. The worst stayed. That brain drain started the slow change at DST.
But for those that left DST - 2 years of extra pay (during a 10 yr period) set them up for prosperity. And Sprint was a easier place to work, was in JOCO, new buildings, food on campus, discount on cell phones, training etc.
