This place is such a mess, where do I begin? New India "employees" every day, and people basically training themselves out of a job. Shady management, all "engineers" are suddenly "producers", who the hell is supposed to author games if you are all producers? Do you even know what that title means beyond the fat paychecks? Rampant rumours of layoffs, no guidance or direction of what the actual f-- the company direction is beyond hemorrhaging money in the wake of buying another bullish!t company while 8 BILLION in debt. No hope because of non competes for those who want to move on. Good luck all of you who are stuck there, you are going to need it.

Left Reno and IGT years ago...so glad. Sorry for all of you who are still there.
To those of you who don't know: no judge in the land is going to enforce a non-compete ESPECIALLY if IGT/Bally's lays you off. The court system always goes against anything that stops a woman/man from making a living. Google it. They may be able to enforce only certain parts of it (e.g., protection of trade secrets), but the rest is crap. IGT/Bally's uses it to psyche people into staying loyal. It's total BS. It's even illegal in some states.

Just say thanks to the popular Kevin Sheehan. Should have kept his a-- on Norwegian Cruise Line Boats and some reality TV shows.
Sorry to all of you Bally folks (some of whom are X-IGTers. I left Reno, for a big city.
I agree, In an almost non-existent replacement cycle carrying $8B in debt really does tie ones hands, After the principal and interest payments on that monster there is not much free cash flow left to move the company forward in critical areas. And sadly the culture has become one of a "am I next" existence, thus stifling creativity. Over the past few years most of the innovative start-ups were crushed by the now debt laded giants. Now it looks like the market just may be ripe for the emergence of some of those lean mean little start-ups. Those places are a lot more fun to work at anyway. Just sayin'...
