Thread regarding Zenith Education Group layoffs

You have lost focus, which I'm sure is why the kool-aid group goes on here.

The focus is the fact that the school charges money for a worthless diploma, worthless classes and just pushes stupid people through who don't want to do the real work in a real college to succeed in life. Then everyone gets excited that they can't find jobs in the real world with their degree. Of course not, the degree has no value and that is known in the world. The students either are too stupid to know that or they just like the extra living expenses. Either way it is wrong.

Who cares if a manger is not working, or doesn't know her job. Most of the assistant deans are idiots, but who cares, its the ripoff going on that is the problem. Who cares if employees come to work at a fake company, unless its tax funded and should be closed.

Well, I am currently in the Medical Billing and Coding branch of an Zenith run Everest College. Anyone with sense coming into this program know that it's basically something designed to get my money and try to keep me happy with what I am learning. I get all of that. However, the degree isn't all that worthless. With both the AAPC and AHIMA this degree program is accepted and recognized as accredited (for how long, who knows). In becoming a fully certifies coder, you must have AT LEAST 2 years of an apprenticeship. This 8 month paper will take off one of those years. There is also that benefit that my tuition here as astronomically cheaper than if I went to the only community college here in NV. Yet with that comes the knowledge that I am getting what I pay for. Personally I am much more self study, and here have the ability to have a teacher I can ask questions and get clarification. Also, on any resume, having completed any certification or degree program is better than having nothing at all. The only thing that can come from earning any degree at any institution is how you use the opportunities it offers you.
