Layoff Posts - Real or Not

Doesn't really matter - if it gets people to leave, then the company doesn't have to pay severance or unemployment .. headcount reduction done.

Mission accomplished !

(of course it's the 'dead weight' that decides to stay!)

I don't think so. 2017 - 2020 is going to be a time of huge transitions. I would expect a ton of layoffs and store closures as the company attempts to achieve it's plan to "right size" itself.

Of course, none of this will do more than prolong the suffering as the company lays on it's deathbed and the execs eek out every possible dime they can grab.

The iceberg has been struck, the ship is sinking. Shira has everyone rearranging deck chairs as she and other C-level execs loot the vault and the silverware from the first class dining room.
