When Staples layoffs some departments or close delivery locations they do give Three months notice based on the WARN act with the Labor departments. Staples continues the trend of slashing jobs not creating new ones. Any current employee might want to have a updated resume ready for the future because Staples is not a stable company to work for.

Back in August of 2015 I knew of layoffs the month or two before. It was all coming from the rumor mill, but proved to be correct! As for are there going to be layoffs now, who knows? I would recommend ALL associates to have their resumes up to date, for if your number is called, and you are not prepared, shame on you!

Staples was a good company, but hasn't been for many years!

"or they didn't like the company culture"

Because Staples company culture is F'in toxic as hell.

All DMs and RVPs should be replaced. Shira is an idiot, Steve still doesn't know what he got himself into and Ron is just hanging around, watching and laughing while he waits for another payday.

Fake, hmm... sounds like an HR person protecting the homeland. Thousand have lost their jobs. Did you miss that? Thousands more to come... the company is on life support, or death watch. Choose your terminology. The only way you could not get it is you work for hr or you are a rump swab.

This website has turned out to become a fake website with fake layoff posts. People are writing fake information just because they were either booted out or they didn't like the company culture or their previous boss or some other reason. There are no layoffs coming. Layoffs dont send out warnings, they just happen. Its a game played by upper management based on finances. Why would someone say 3 months earlier that layoffs will happen?
