You can go back to work at Intel as a green badge, ISP, after 12 months. I know this to be true, I did.
The answer depends on the country. In an US state the answer may be "NO". In some European countries the answer would be "YES", unless you caused your ISP by committing a crime (steeling HW) or so. The point is: the company orders a service from another company. Refusing a person because of a former ISP would cause HR to be in deep trouble.
HR says "NO!", so that is the official answer. Inofficially, I know of managers who are already in negotiations to get recent ISPs and VSPs back on board as green badges.
you cannot come back as a contractor for 2 years if you were a blue badge that was recently let go.
Time to go into addiction counseling, folks, if you cannot break the Intel dependency. Look, even if you come back as green badge or other contractor like Kelly, you will be taking home half the pay and no Intel benefits. Plus I've seen comments on earlier threads that I understand: "ISP'd folks brought back are a security threat" as they may have lingering resentments. Why do you want to keep coming back to this poisoned well?
Why would anyone unfaily got ISP come back to work for Intel?
Already so fed up with this stupid mangment and culture, even if the company beg me to come back, I will never. Why would I work for a company with NO future?
here is another one with more info. https://www.thelayoff.com/t/JwzfjpP
This has already been covered in several threads on this forum. It seems the answer is "it depends." Call HR. They have a tool called CDIS that will show if you are eligible for rehire or not.

No you cannot. I was able to come back for a short 6 month stint after taking a buy out to leave. I would have only lasted 6 months more anyways if I was allowed to stay longer as the team I was in is getting shut down at the end of the year. And all those guys jobs are getting outsourced to Mexico.
I have heard - NO. Even as a contractor you are not allowed to come back. VSP -ERP yes after a year or 6 months -this will depend on your group. But from what I understand from HR anyone who has received ISP is not allowed to come back even as a green badge. Contact HR because this to might change. HR will look at your file and determine your eligibility. For absolute sure any ISP cannot come back as a Blue Badge. Why would Intel want to hire a green badge with NO future?
