Cognizant is a terribly structured organization, working here means putting yourself totally at your direct manager's mercy, specially in terms of promotion and raise. They don't appreciate creativity, so don't bother to suggest any improvement- unless it doubles the profit, they won't even listen to you.

I second that. pathetic organization...U hv to keep flattering ur manager to get hike/promotion etc....
Manager in Pune prefers marathi..manager in chennai prefer tamil...
by no means its global company.. dirty politics..ineffective HR
very pathetic pay structure ... work load is more, no recognition at all, my effort is to others credit .. seriously pay is worst
