TSMC got leaders with PhD from Stanford, Berkeley and Yale

Samsung got leaders with PhDs from Stanford and UCLA

Google CEO got degrees from Stanford and Wharton...

It is no wonder Intel targets Tier1, but now chasing URM dips all the way to tier3 and since they need to limit Indians and Chinese more and more see Tier 2 and Tier 3 among the larger population...

Then of course beyond Dr Murthy just look at the bozos let by a BS from SJ State, is it any wonder Intel executives are just powerpoint readers forcing their smarter minions to put their presentations togather.

Intel is going down faster than you can imagine, it has nothing to do with x86 versus ARM, or physics of Moore's Law, it is a senior management problem that the guys at the top try to fix by laying of the lower guys, yet the problem starts and ends at the top, BK needs to GO!

Smart people simply wouldn't have put this great company where it was , but sadly Intel top leaders are not very smart for the most part.

What Intel needs is not diversity in culture but diversity in talent all the way till top management

I'll put my eggs with the ones from a better school and at least at the moment BK is living up to his school, making a great name for its graduates.

Look around at the Fortune 500 and garbage school CEO is an exception whole from tier 1 dominates. It is the same reaso. BK likely rather hire from tier one than dumb a$$ state.

Does anyone seriously believe BK's poor performance is primarily a school pedigree issue? Barrett had a Stanford degree, and that didn't prevent him from going on an ill-advised company buying spree any more than BK's SJSU degree did. The problem they both suffer from -- and apparently they aren't alone -- is over-confidence and an inability to recognize their errors and adjust course.

Correct. And that dinosaur, Andy Bryant, needs to get out also. He gave opportunity to that BS SJSU monkey who had zero prior business experience. BK must've fed the BoD the most colossal crock of BS one could have imagined in order to get chosen for CEO. Three years later it has cost Intel big time.
