Yep, there were layoffs across the board. News 12 Westchester will be consolidated to Long Island and News 12 Conneticut to New Jersey. News 12 Traffic & Weather will now be fully automatic. No more live reporters in the morning. Really crappy that Altice did this. They assured us nothing would change for News 12 for five years!

Altice assured the state of NY there would be no layoffs in CableVision for 5 years as well. That’s why ATS was formed, everyone moved to that “company” and then the axe began to swing because “technically” those were not Altice employees any loner they were ATS and ATS made no such agreement with the state of NY. That’s the kind of people running the circus known as Altice. It doesn’t matter if it is in Europe, the Middle East, the Dominican Republic or The United States, if it is associated in any way with Altice it is a dumpster fire in the middle of a circus and PD is the pathetic ring master.
Altice should be thrown out of New Jersey the customer service is horrible to non existant.
We have watched News 12 for many years. We looked forward to it. They fired some Great news anchors and we are so disappointed and angry ! JACKIE LUCAS is Light -Smart - Silly and a RIOT! A REFRESHING NEWS ANCHOR .Our family is saying What the he-l are they thinking .The news is BORING (YAWNING) NOW! BRING HER BACK!!!!! So many families are not watching now!
goodbye Cablevision, the only reason I had stayed with Cablevision was because of news 12 and all the familiar faces that I have come to appreciate over the years and look forward to seeing every day. Altice Sucks!
I will no longer watch news 12. what altice has done is horrible. you tune in for the familiar faces as it has a reassuring effect on you, all that is gone now. no reason to watch this channel at all.

The long island channel has become unwatchable. Not that anybody watches them anyway.
They have the same hacks, who couldn't make it on real networks, for ages. I feel bad for some of them but then again they've become caricatures of themselves.
And the channel spends at least 50% of it's time on publicizing their own shows, which, in turn, spend 50% of their time publicizing themselves...
This station has to go. These people have to go. I don't feel bad for lame, talentless people loosing their jobs.

I know you have to do business and can do it as you wish. I can do as I wish also. I have kept this $200/ month bill mostly to keep my very local access to Westchester news and weather with the people who know this area. I can get all the cable and network shows elsewhere.
I have this funny remote that gives me something called roku or Holo or something like that. I can get news from my phone.
Can you tell me who else I can get internet from and a landline from so I can bail from you?
News 12 Westchester is now very very disappointing now.Westchester Residents loves all of the anchors and news people.now all I'm hearing is the same music over & over again like someone is trying to put it together on a one man staff, This will move will make lots if not all Westchester county people to go back to Verizon My family always loved cable just because of channel 12 now that you've pulled away something we all loved away from us be prepared to lose viewers.Im watching people who we don't know or care to know

I was noticing the abbsence of some reporters one by one, but out of a sudden there were like three reporters in one week at News 12 Ct. Now I'm reading this and now know what's going on. Shame on them. They were really good reporters. They now who they are.

How disappointing! The only thing that matters to these corporations is money, money, and more money. Never mind all those fine people at News 12 losing their jobs and never mind the viewers- We don't count!! I don't know how these corporate executives are able to sleep at night, but I guess it's easy when you don't care about anything but money! Shame on you!!!

Yup this is the beginning of the end. 5 years.. Yeah right. They just fired six employees at long Island. One on air reporter who has been there since day one. One supersivisor for now. Production assistants are gone and master Control also. The sad part is all upper level people knew this was Coming and just keep stringing everyone along. Altice will get what's Coming to them when they make news 12 so bad no one will want the service.

I was worried because I have to switch out from them well no more service perk and well lets face it unless you have all 5 ghz devices their 2.4 ghz wireless is slow like turtle...so off I go to frontier they have had some rocking wireless (been keeping two isp connections the last year for business purposes), pots phone (also for the business...now finally apprehensively switching over to frontier TV...why apprehensive...I am going to miss my news 12 cast in the morning...they are great personalities and truly make news fun! Good riddens CV/Altice. If you worried more about giving the customer better choice on packages you wouldnt have lost so much money, and wouldnt have had to make the sell off decision...maybe.
Connecticut will be sold off to Charter soon. Why would a company have their headquarters in a competitors footprint? In Connecticut they already call it Chartervision because of all the former employees. Altice is so stupid but think they are so smart. Cablevision has some of the best trained employees in the business. Altice just lets kicks them to the curb. Karma is a b--ch.
Dish Network here I come!!! I will never patronize a company that treats their employees disrespectfully and without any consideration at all. Cablevision shame on you because the execs talk amongst themselves. You all knew what Altice planned to do before the merger. Cablevision lined their pockets and left their faithful dedicated employees to the wolves, Altice. We must boycott Altice and hit them where it hurts, in their pockets. Yeah, so much for not changing the business plan. I am worried about not having health insurance. That's what will hurt the most. Really stinks and I hope News 12 loses viewers and that Altice loses a lot of money.
Feel your pain. One of many who had to watch the newsroom burst into tears. It wasn't 3 months ago that they told us the business model would not be changing. Just closed on a house. What do we do now?!?
