@kqr - Intel was not this way at all back in Andy Grove's time, even during CRB and PSO to a lesser extent. Sadly, under BK it has become "just another company" and worse than many in this regard and many other ways which have been discussed in other threads.

Every exec in every company loots the company they work for. No BIG DEAL. It is to be expected. BK and his execs are no different.

@JI2qiIz-zvd. That is a failure of BOD and corporate focuse on short term metrics versus the long term for the better of the company and the employees. Look at the BOD and you can see the stock is the most important thing and thus they are happy at the expense of the employees and their future. But Ask BK about his vineyard or PSO or CRBs ranch in the Tetons versus the new rcg and their future!
BK and Murthy deserve every cent. They are the most underpaid leaders in this industry. After the restructuring that they have successfully orchestrated now clearly paying dividends, the board would be wise to give them a very liberal bonus and pay increase as their reward for all their hard work.
Intel is a poster child for cronie capitalism.
Of course, their bonuses are targeted to URM numbers, stock prices and ppt targets. Forget the need to deliver 10nm on time, real new products or making hard and visionary decisions that will bring a bright future to their you RCGs or career lifers with 20years to go.
Can anyone name a VP who actually is trying to do the right thing or just protect himself and his turf?
This is the new norm this company had sunk to.
Would not expect anything different from the kind of slimy scum leading the company right now.
