Paul made more in compensation from his google stock than his Intel compensation, it is no wonder he did a $hitty job and cared little if his x86 all in went nowhere, he got rich on the google board and jumped when the going got messy and it was clear Intel was sailing into a total disaster, better let some moron take the helm, yeah that moron will get some serious cash too, look at the insider sales for the past year!

Feel thankful for no free fruit @boh. You'd end up with fruit flies. Seriously, I think their source gave us the worst they had and packed the best for grocery stores or something. I have zero gratitude toward Intel.

From recruiting me away from a great job with a bunch of lies and BS, to treating me extremely poorly for the 18 months I worked there, to walking me out with ISP because my dumbas manager gave me a S/SL4 for "being new to Intel" while she took credit for my accomplishments, BK, Murthy and the rest can eat a fat dck while Intel circles the drain.

My site didn't even have free fruit.

Thank you old biased and narrow minded manager and GM/VP for giving me my first L4 in two decades. I'd probably have been stupid enough to continue work 7 days a week, give up vacations and delay my sabbaticals, be chained to my phone/pager and laptop being micromanaged by my management.

But instead got cut lose, had wealth of offers with pay up to 50% increase, sane hours, and took a new job with a bright future with management that asked me about my family, cared about my kids and appreciates my hard work.

BTW everywhere I interviewed the CEOs couldn't believe that BK was so stupid.

Thankyou BK for being so stupid and getting me laidoff with all them benefits. I like the lies boosting the stock too, makes for a great 6 figure payday in addition to one years salary, pension and health care.

I do feel very sad for my good friends slaving away still with such a bleak future!

Intel officially announced to the outer world that ppl got ISP bcoz of poor performance, which is totally a big lie. Well fine, I got sl4 first time after 14 years becoz I took a xxxx leave. I saw lots of dumb things going on in design teams and so called smart managers, PEs did not even notice what were wrong. Truly pathetic. New young folks have new ideas? Old folks are lazy, fat, outdated, useless so should be removed? Well start with BK first who wasted $billions company money. Andy would just jump out of his grave to kick this moron's a--.

Good post, uyn! The only people who understand the emotions of the situation are the ones who have been unfairly cut. Funny that according to our mgrs, we were all doing great jobs for our respective departments until suddenly time to layoff older, higher cost employees. Then you are cut. All the lies surrounding these actions are incomprehensible. Yes, the managers and CEOs are a bunch of cowards. If these people were laid off for performance reasons, why weren't any of us on a performance improvement plan six months in advance of the lay-offs?

..closing sites around me a while ago. I smelled the sh-- and looked for a job. Three months later I had the VSP in my mailbox and a nice job somewhere else - thanks for the free money, i'm mortgage-free. Still, f--- you intel for f---ing so many good engineers instead of your incompetent, coward, boot-licking managers, and their boss, the worst CEO you ever had.
