Read more on this - it's puzzling - now teaming up with Oakley, Luxottica to build another high end wearable product - not sure what to tell you here - Personally, I think it's yet another set of unecessary distractions that will not help us where we need to be as it relates to our core business - http://seekingalpha.com/news/3212053-luxottica-intel-launch-smart-eyewear-product

Why anyone defaces their brand even for the cash is beyond me, one desperate company taking cash from another stupid company who doesn't know what strategy to pursue, sad state for the SJS 🐒
Oakley no doubt got some cash for this but no serious runner wants all that weight around their face. Wheres the intel revenue from this? Its demoware without a plan. More drones robots and bracelets
Mica bracelet v2
It actually seems like a cool product, though it's a bit expensive. I agree, however, the greater wearable strategy seems haphazard at best and isn't even supported by the IOT group. The Bloomberg video wasn't bad, either. The Intel guy caught grief elsewhere in this forum, but bizdev personnel can't talk Intel numbers, particularly in a quiet period.
