What type of information are you looking to find out? Maybe you should visit your HR department. They are always a reliable source. If they aren't in the office you may find them just down the street at the local brew pub.

ask Valve assembly or maintenance dept, cutting the bosses grass or fixing his car also helps

No, but dating the bosses sister or going to lunch with the boss everyday is a plus

would joining the fishing club, playing rugby, hanging out at the bar with the H.R. folks or kissing bosses rear end help qualify for any of these newly recreated positions ?

There are certain stipulations to qualify for those high paying positions now open in Erie.

Can't be one of those former dedicated employees who were notified last December that their job has been eliminated.
Can't know anything about or have prior knowledge of the Smith Meter product line.
Can't have any knowledge or experience in operations of the factory.
Can't have any experience assisting Customer base with application or service request.

Any of the above would makes you overqualified and 10 times more knowledgeable than the people that you'll be reporting too which makes them very uneasy and nervous.

What about all those qualified senior employees as candidates for these rehire positions that they threw to the curb to improve their temporary bottom line numbers to entice technip

Business must be going pretty darn good in Erie because they are looking to fill several high dollar vacancies. Plant Manager, Controller, Process Engineer etc .... all $90 to $115K range plus relocation package.
