Thread regarding Shell Oil layoffs

hONESTY, iNTEGRITY and rESPECT

None of these vitues exist, a pure PR stunt.....

1)Lack of honesty: onshore assets this company acquired failed big time. They brought managers with no values nor ethics, hangry for power at all costs, they surroud themselves with people that reflect their values and contribute to the massive scame.....2-3 years later the asset fails, and guess what? managers (with no accoutability for their failures to both company nor employees) get assigned to other projects, and even promoted.....yes, promoted, imagine that!

2)Lack of integrity: from team leads, all the way up to the VPs and unecessary layer of Demagoguery - All carry the same checks and balances speech, with no transparency, coupled with obssesive compulsive egocentric type of behaviors and an unexplained complexe of superiority, never seen before!.....Manipulative and protecive one another, the club forms and the permanent members are quickly identified, the rest is the crowd is here to serve and help achieve the ambitions. So if you learn the game, you can get by, otherwise you are on the bunch waiting for the next round to come along.....

3)Lack of respect: To add insult on injury, they conspired with HR scambags to architect a very well studied and targeted plan to get rid of hard working individuals with no connections or ties nor play politics......to the exception of some minorities, kept along to avoid the law suits. But in the end, whether experienced or New Professional, alike...all believed in a company that doens't deserve their skills and dedication......

Totally agree with you. I was a hardworking employee and my boss would tell me that from time to time, and even encouraged me to work less and "socialize" more, and yet, I was the one he laidoff over my teammate because I wasn't his "favorite".... hypocrisy !
