Of course Technip is in the driver seat. They will own the majority share. FMC 49.1% to Technip's 50.9%
Being at Forsys I am getting the rumors from both side. So said Technip is definitely in the driver seat with this merger.
I think it's obvious that Technip is running the show and FMC will just be a brand to them. It's a stockholder merger but the workers are getting the shaft. Bad market, limited work, suppressed earnings, outsourcing and an ever decreasing number of platforms just spell the end of the company. Why anyone is still giving effort is beyond me
