100 more than the 75 turds they flushed? Sounds like the end. For profit schools are going in the tank. I visit alot of tech training schools looking for guys. UTI is 6-10x the cost of at least three other schools in the area with just as good of training. Same training aids, better curriculum. At leas they are not spending time on carbs and distributors. UTI is going away and they they wont be able to hold on. The end is near.
About 100 more will be gone by the end of October. It's unreal how fast the company is sliding off the cliff. And still there are people who think the company will pull out of this. They are the die hard uti employees who have built their entire lives on this job. It's all they know and if they were to leave where would they go. Another for profit school? That entire industry is dead. It's tough to watch I really feel for them. Most of the managers or directors if they do have a degree or higher education it's from UOP--another disgraced for profit school. Just sad.
Those people should have been looking for work along time ago. I started there before they went public and it was good for a while but has definately gone downhill from there.
Those that are left will have to pick up the slack and it will continue to go downhill.
30% of their corporate workforce was wiped out and just to share the magic they picked off a few people at each campus. the company is in complete chaos now everyone is looking for other work.
Bye Bye U.T.I, I think they should of got rid or Kimmy along time ago. Good luck to all of my fellow instructors that get R.I.F'd today, finding a job after U.T.I. is going to be hard for you, especially you guys that couldn't fix a car when you got hired, cars have evolved into different creatures in the past 5 to 10 years. Thanks for nothing U.T.I. Kimmy, I hope you and all your thieving V.P's and managers rot in HELL.
Sincerely, Mr. Dic---ad
Well,
They got rid of some of the top turds and also others. Next, there will be promotions. Those people will be given jobs they cant do and things will deteriorate even further. Thats the way they do things there in Snottsdale. The bad decision makers are still in play and will continue to make bad calls. The remaining people know the end is near and will resort to just getting by. Collecting a paycheck and such. Not a good position to be in but its all they have.
I feel bad for them. They are trapped. Guilty by association.
it isn't over yet all hope for the company recovering is over but not the layoffs. they are the gift that keeps on giving
Thanks, didn't realize that. Will be careful in the future.
I heard they cut 75 people today.
Don't name names, site rules. Admins will remove all your posts and block your IP. Just sayin'
Good. They will just hire more though. 35+ vice presidents and counting.
Down.
