ACICS was at a campus in NW district today. They will be auditing that campus for 4 days.

"there is much more info on campuses on show cause than just a few days ago"
They also have a new job placement verification program that is completely bogus.
ACICS's a_s is completely on the line here, with the way they are handling ITT-Tech. No doubt they have planned and planned for whatever they can do to try and redeem themselves -- an uphill battle for sure. For example, they have added a lot of stuff to their website -- there is much more info on campuses on show cause than just a few days ago, including the letter they sent to Itt-tech on August 17. I am sure they can pull off a few campus visits.
Recruiting has apparently been sent home, most all chairs have been terminated, adjuncts & students are gone for the short break, no more full-time faculty any more....great time for a surprise visit to see how smoothly things are operating.
I'd like to know more because none of this makes sense. ACICS doesn't just "show up" - they only have a small staff. They'd have to find evaluators for each visit and that would take time.
Yes I'm in the SE district as well, no visit. However my manager made me aware of this potential "surprise" visit today. Ironically, my school is 30 mins outside the ACICS headquarters in DC.
Maybe 10 schools total nationwide but not in the SE District! This speaks volumes to the accuracy of the posts on this site???? Lol
Now this is not true and I know it first hand.
MoDanny was enlisted to help with the effort
I actually heard it was 10 schools
