No Teach Out

No teach out phase. They are getting shut down completed. They told their staff maybe Friday with response but ACICS said, shut down Wednesday.

Reminder: Add to schedule --- pick up more Kool Aid, running low.

PLEASE tell us how you "service" students. Those of us who were in academics and took care of students for TWO YEARS would love to know.

Schedule :

Morning. Just pretending its business as usual, like I was told.

Afternoon. Doing a little servicing of my students, giving them value for their money.

Evening. Head to my hosehold. Post stuff online about how those allocations don't mean anything.

What flavor is the Kool-Aid these Carmel trolls ate drinking? "Allegations"? NO! ITT did not meet ACICS criteria even though they had TWO YEARS to do so.

"directly involved in servicing students, feels right now....

Yikes, this is getting worse the more you post! Now you sound like a pimp! Please stop!

No, I have not serviced any of MY students, but I did spend 5 hours a night with them, in a weekly gig. Teaching, that is!

And no, I don't know how you feel because your post is nearly gibberish, seriously. BUT I do know that most of my former students would have gotten a lot more out of their $40K investment playing at a casino instead enrolling at ITT-Tech. Both had late night ads on the same channel.

ITT DID NOT COMMUNICATE ANYTHING TO THEIR EMPLOYEES!!!! We know nothing and it is expected to work pretending it is business as usual. I cannot believe it. I feel for the employees, I do, especially for the sole bread winners in their hoseholds, but my heart rips into pieces when I think about the current non-graduated students and all the alumni we were helping...don't even dare calling on me for this post...none of you as you will never understand how a Field ITT Tech employee, directly involved in servicing students, feels right now....

"HAS anyone given any thought to how any privately owned company can be sentenced from allocations only?????"

First of all, the word is "allegations."

Second of all, kudos on being a loyal employee. Your're clearly taking a line from Nicole Elam and running with it! Been hearing the same line all over the internet today.

Great line if you're working with the Mafia -- "They could accuse me of a lot of things, but they couldn't make 'em stick!"

Makes you sound guilty as heck though.

ITT HAS NOT told their employees they are going down to a skeleton crew...contrary to most reports they are taking every step to do right by their current students within the demands DE has laid out for them. HAS anyone given any thought to how any privately owned company can be sentenced from allocations only?????

ACICS hasn't even published the letter they gave DOE. ACICS doesn't tell colleges they accredite when to lock the doors. ACICS is told what to do by the colleges they accredite.

ITT employees should now be allowed to use the campus career services depts--they always tout the thousands of companies they work with who are always looking to hire. The DOCS can get 2 points for each ITT employee placed & avoid being placed on corrective action. A win-win scenario for all.

Gossip from YAHOO ESI finance forum:

Carmel, IN ESI employees were allowed to work on resumes at work today at the office and were told "any day the cuts will hit and they'll be down to a skeleton crew to... keep the lights on for the next few weeks..."
