Some advice about finding a job after Ai

So if your a current Ai employee here are a few things I learned from my own job search (I left in 2015).

Non profit schools don't want you if you worked for Ai unless you have significant non profit higher Ed experience and masters or doctoral degrees from non profit colleges or universities. If you don't have the degrees and non profit experience I recommend you look for a job outside of higher ed. This is what I did and it worked. I had to start near the bottom but quickly moved up (once you in then your Ai experience can be relevant when being considered for a promotion).

If at all possible you want to get something between AI and now. If you go down with the ship and then look for something else it may look like you have poor judgement to employers, unless of course you have other strong elements on your resume.
