I an So happy to be out of there, it must be nerve wracking for the poor souls left having to s--- up to their inept Supervisors. My department had too much work and so guess what, the work now done by even fewer is just jammed out,,, really, they don't care! Very sad,,,, because we used to care and take pride in our jobs. But the ones left DON'T.

I think Daniels probably did not like the direction the company is heading. He probably saw taking on more debt for the GOM purchases, and laying off people at the same time just did not seem right. He seems to be a stand up type person. And in the end what type exploration is APC really doing.

Daniels retirement may signal the end of the cabal of Roberts or "Ca-bobs" in upper management.

I hear Kleckner will perform if he's out of rehab by then.

I'm getting excited about the Christmas party! I wonder who the performers will be? Maybe it will Van Halen!

Thank God I no longer spend time worrying about the inevitable day that eventually came when two managers stepped into my office, closed the door, read the canned speech, threw the blue folder on my desk, and escorted me to the elevator. Mo more. Yes, it was painful, however, I'm glad it's over. Gone.

Two rounds of layoffs were planned for from the beginning. All the plans are set. All the employees picked. All the managers trained. You won't see round 2 coming much in advance. You might be told to cancel meetings for part of a day.

Kleckner got the shove because Al hates Mormons. Wasn't always this way. But Al is now a Laveyan Satanist with atheistic tendencies which has become very trendy in his pacific coast neighborhood.
