The Scottsbluff layoffs were a big blow to the community there, but there have been probably into the hundreds of layoffs in the San Antonio offices too. They had at least 2 rounds there and have also used it as an excuse to fire people from non-related departments. I have not seen any local media coverage on the issue though. It is rumored that other big clients may follow Ocwen and PennyMac and sever ties with SWBC. Other new potential clients that were intended to replace the exiting clients may be delayed well into next year or may not take shape at all. Now is not a good time to be in any department at SWBC except maybe mortgage.

Swbc does not care about their employees. Plus they have some people in management that shouldn't be. And people that are not in management making decisions when they shouldn't, causing others to get fired when all they need is better traning. I feel bad for the employees but for the company well they will get whatever is coming tonthem.
