With ITT now effectively closing down (see today's Wall Street Journal). It shouldn't be too long before the Government shuts down Everest as they are even worse. This giving money to people who should never be in College and saddling them with massive debt has got to stop. Now I realize that Obama and Hillary just want to get rid of the for profit schools to accelerate their plan to have free college for everyone, it does in the short term correct a bad abuse. These ITT, Everest degrees are not worth anything and we all know it. Why do employees still try to convince people they are. To continue to get a pay check? It is a big disservice to the students and taxpayers to keep up this charade. I suspect the plan all along was to end Everest, but not before they reduce the debt to the Feds, so the feds wouldn't have to forgive so many loans. I don't think any loans should be forgiven. These students used the system just like welfare.
Besides having Democrats in office, the student debt scandal is the largest risk to the US economy and may collapse it if both continue.
