I see that some employees are filing a class action lawsuit against HP. I was laid off after 31 years with HP/EDS. I suspect it was age related. I just found this website and submitted my information. http://hpagediscriminationinvestigation.com/

I'm sorry that happened to you. My father got WFR'ed this year from HP after 32 years of loyal, above average rated service. They gave him no explanation. He is 64 years old. I definitely suspect it was age discrimination.
you should also file your own complaint with EEOC
I too have reached out on this, I was laid off after too many years to note, but it was age related for sure.
