I hear that they are eliminating some positions - how accurate is this?

Many were impacted. 100+ I would say... out of a small office. Second round of layoffs just happen within a year of the merger.
It's already started at Jarden Corporate. They are laying off in small waves as they decide the direction of each group. Next I'm sure they'll review the Corporate offices of each Business Unit.
