CAT screwing employee and employee family life.

I have been laid off, lost my job in India last Nov 2015. Was working in Distribution Services group. Along with me 4 more lost their jobs
So far in CAT India (ACSD)
-Product manager has been demoted to Engg Manager level.
-New Product manager leading the ACSD/ PD> union & he is known to reduce workforce like anything increasing productivity. He used to work in GE, wants to implement best practices from there.
-Under ACSD India 2 Div Managers are let go. About 10 -15 max may have been let go till now which is very low compared to guys in US.
-None of the mgmt has been forthright in communicating anything yet. Productivity/ morale falls to abysmal levels, I believe the mgmt is very weak/ decisive here causing an atmosphere of chaos. I am sure people will get a heart attack just guessing about their futures.
-However I think if layoffs dont happen today (Wed) then may be India may not see significant workforce reduction.
No hiring's are going but just firings from India too. You don't have to cry about us. We are on the same boat
Nobody is immune, but they do hire in India big time
Its a business decision
