Has anyone had an ipp or merit raise yet? Me and friends are wondering if we will get anything this year....

Are the new hires coming in with better pay or just a sign-on bonus? I saw the ad but wasn't sure if it is worth it. I know they are/were at least respected. Heard there have been some issues at the department level in the last year or so, due to a management shake up.

Trumped up statements to justify being put into a lower category! Best Faculty Forward being used to put teachers in any campus no matter how far away, and teachers have no say so in what course thye teach. The ones laid off in July were the lucky ones!

People are being put into unadvertised new positions of management at the home office by friends. Look up Cronyism in the dictionary and you will see DeVry Management!

No recourse for unfair reviews!

Just had my IPP. Very surprised to actually get a raise even though it's so tiny that it's barely noticeable. Still better than expected.

After abandoning what made DeVry Institute of Technology successful they want to go back? I'm afraid this isn't like New Coke versus Coke. The consumer is not likely to forgive and forget that easily. Nor is the government. Nice try, but the once proud name is now too tarnished.

OMFG is he kidding? Faculty was saying this for TEN F---ING YEARS, and those idiots wouldn't hear of it. NOW, when they've driven the place into the toilet they are trying to sell it as THEIR NEW idea? Oh, and the way management really says "Thank you" to the employees is by first blaming them for management's poor decisions and second firing them.

I expect them to either make crap up or nitpick on small things to keep the ratings down to keep raises not existent. And then set impossible goals for next year. This isn't going to get better anytime aoon.

FunFact(tm): On Friday last week, HR was prepping HLV and CMC management with direct reports by having them attend a meeting called "How to deliver a disappointing review."

I'll leave it up to you to guess what your merit is going to be like, even if you get a 3 or 4 on your IPP.
